Lettuce Seeds

Florida’s Winter and Early Spring are ideal times to grow Lettuce! Add these tender, leafy, and delicious veggies to your Florida Garden Today!

Lettuce seeds are very small, so it is recommended to barely cover with soil. For best results, sprinkle a light layer of soil on top of them. Less is more. Do not sow seeds any deeper than the length of the seed itself. Partial sun is best for growing Lettuce in the Sunshine State. As usual, Morning Sun will be the preferable light of the day. Plants will be able to tolerate more sun as the days grows shorter in December and January.
