Description
Generally speaking, Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce can be successfully grown throughout Florida from September through March.
Simpson Lettuce seeds are very small, so it is recommended to barely covered with soil. For best results, sprinkle a light layer of soil on top of them. Less is more. Do not sow seeds any deeper than the length of the seed itself.
Partial sun is best for growing Simpson Lettuce. As usual Morning Sun will be the preferable type of light. Plants will be able to tolerate more sun as the days grows shorter in December and January.
