Cherokee Wax Bean is an old heirloom string bean that grows on a bush. Heirloom, heat-tolerant, and naturally resistant to many diseases. We believe it is one of the best beans to grow in the Florida Garden. It produces a stunningly beautiful yellow bean pods, hence the name!

Growing:
This is a great heirloom, heat-resistant crop to grow in the North and Central Florida Garden during the Spring and Late Summer growing seasons (Approximately August through December and After last front through June).
In South Florida, it can be grown Late Summer through Late Spring (September through April).
