Description
Crovarese Tomatoes are an old Italian Grape Tomato Variety. They’re deliciously packed with a fresh & tangy flavor!
Produces tomatoes that are approximately 3/4 oz. These little tomatoes are LOADED with flavor. Rather than just one harvest, this Grape Tomato variety will keep producing throughout the season.
Plant is an indeterminate vining bush. This means that the plant aggressively grows as well as continuously produces. We recommend growing inside of a tomato cage or trellis (although it is not required).
Grows well in containers and the ground.
We recommend growing Crovarese Tomatoes during the Spring and Summer. They can be grown in Fall and harvested into the colder months. We recommend growing them in the ground during the Spring.
During the Summer growing Season, grow them in partial sun (in-ground, preferably morning sun) or a container. The main benefit of growing them in a container during the Summer, is so that they can be easily moved if they are receiving too much sunlight
Advice: All tomato plants are more productive when night time temperatures drop below 80 degrees.
Advice: Grape Tomatoes can be successfully grown most of the year in Florida. Plants will die in freezing temperatures and may not produce fruit during the hottest months of the year (peak of Summer, especially in South Florida and South Central Florida).
