Description
Dark Red Kidney Beans are a bush bean that produces an abundance of shells that contain 4-6 beans each. An aggressive plant, it thrives in warm/hot weather. It is not cold tolerant. We recommend planting in late Summer (August-September), early Spring (after the last frost), or grown into the early Winter Growing Season, prior to the first cold snap.
Sow seeds no deeper than 1/4 inch.
A nitrogen-fixing crop, it helps to add/fix nitrogen ( a very important nutrient for all plants) into the soil.
Grow in full sun during the Spring Season and partial to full sun during the Summer Season.
