Mauve Eggplants are an old heirloom variety, originating in Asia. Particularly well-suited for Florida’s Climate, these smaller fruits are very productive, producing a bountiful harvest of many smaller eggplants. Mauve is quite resilient in the face of the our hot weather. Fruits are typically 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
If grown in containers, make sure to water well.
