Description
Oregano is an excellent herb to grow in the Florida Garden. It can be grown year-round in South Central Florida and South Florida. Grow it for most of the year in North Central Florida and North Florida (except for the colder months of our Winter Growing Season).
North Central Florida and North Florida: Oregano is easy to grow most of the year, requiring very little maintenance. We recommend Full Sun/Partial Sun during the Spring, Fall, and Winter. Transition to Partial Sun during the Summertime. Oregano is not Frost Tolerant, it will need protection if there is a threat of frost (January, February, and Early March).

Oregano seeds are very small, about the size of granules of sand. When planting them, make sure not to cover them with too much soil, sow no deeper than 1/8″.
