Description
Sweetie Cherry Tomatoes are small, juicy, and sweet. They contain 10% to 15% more sugar than the average cherry tomato, making a refreshingly sweet.
These little tomatoes are LOADED with flavor. Rather than just one harvest, the Cherry Tomatoes will keep producing throughout the season.
Plant is an indeterminate vining bush. This means that the plant aggressively grows as well as continuously produces. We recommend growing inside of a tomato cage or trellis (although it is not required).
Grows well in containers and the ground.
We recommend growing Sweetie Cherry Tomatoes during the Spring and Summer. They can be grown in Fall and harvested into the colder months. We recommend growing them in the ground during the Spring.
During the Summer growing Season grow them in partial sun (preferably morning sun).
We highly recommend growing them in a container during the Summer Growing Season. This will make it easier to move your plants if they are receiving too much sunlight.
Advice: All tomato plants are more productive when night time temperatures drop below 80 degrees.
Advice: Cherry Tomatoes can be successfully grown most of the year in Florida. Plants will die in freezing temperatures and may produce a limited harvest during the hottest months of the year (peak of Summer, especially in South Florida and South Central Florida).
