Description
Thyme is a crawling herb that is originally native to the Mediterranean Coast. It naturally prefers sunlight, but be careful with it receiving too much of our intense sun, especially during the Summer, early Fall, or late Spring (especially in South Florida).
Seed Germination: Thyme seeds can be slow to germinate due to our humidity, so just remain patient with them. Remember, as with any small seed, spirnkle them onto the surface of the soil, barely covering them. Cover no more than 1/8″.
Growing Instructions: Thyme can be grown anytime during the Fall/Winter or Spring Growing Seasons. It can also be grown during the Summer, but with limited exposure to the sun, and in containers.
Sun Exposure: Full Sun during the late Fall/Winter and early Spring, but morning sun for the rest of the year (Late Spring, Summer, and Early Fall).
