Watermelon Radishes are an heirloom variety that thrives during Florida’s unique Spring and Winter climates. A white exterior and pink interior, the Watermelon Radish has the appearance of a small melon! Grown in the ground (raised beds are preferable) and in containers, make sure to keep the soil moist.

North Florida: Grow Radishes in the Full Sun during the Fall/Winter and early Spring Growing Seasons (September through February). Grow Radishes in Partial Sun, preferably Morning Sun, during the rest of the Spring Growing Season (March through April/May). Make sure to keep plants well-watered.
