Your plant will be mailed within two days of your order being placed. You will receive an email that contains the USPS Tracking Code. Please closely follow the tracking information, to know exactly when to expect the plant’s arrival. As soon as the plant arrives, immediately open it, and water it well. We give the plant a very throrough soaking prior to shipping, so your plant should arrive in good shape. If the leaves may appear droopy upon arrival, a good watering will help them “perk up” after a couple of hours.
Plant comes snuggly packed in it’s own 12″ x 3″ x 3″ box.
Planting Instructions:
The Seminole Pumpkin is a vining plant that needs plenty of room to run, it will take over the yard if allowed! Be sure to trim the vine back and direct it to manage growth.
We recommend growing the plant in a large container or planting at the top of a mound of dirt in your garden. The Seminole Pumpkin is a vining plant that will spread it’s vine around the surrounding area. Make sure to keep plant well-watered.
Originally grown by the Native Americans that made Florida their home, they would run the vine up a tree and the pumpkins would hang from the tree limbs like fruit.
