Description
Plant seeds no deeper than 1/4″. Plant in the Spring, harvest in the early Summer.
Plant in well-drained soil, make sure that plant is well-watered. For best results, make a small mound of dirt, then plant watermelon (seed or starter plant) at the top of the mound. This will encourage healthy growth of the vines. Make sure that there is plenty of room for the vines to grow!
Harvest when the bottom of the watermelon begins to turn yellow.
